Embrace Holistic Health Through Naturopathy
Menopause Is More Than Hormones
Perimenopause and menopause can affect far more than hormones. Many women experience fatigue, anxiety, poor sleep, weight changes, hair loss, digestive issues, brain fog, low mood, stress, and concerns around bone health and healthy ageing.
At Handcrafted Health, naturopathy consultations provide personalised, evidence-based support for women navigating the physical and emotional changes of midlife.
A Holistic and Personalised Approach to Menopause Care
Sue takes a holistic approach to menopause care, looking beyond symptoms to explore the underlying factors contributing to hormonal imbalance, nervous system stress, metabolic changes, inflammation, digestive dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies, and lifestyle pressures that commonly impact women during peri-menopause and menopause.
Your consultation includes a comprehensive review of:
- Sleep and energy
- Lifestyle and movement
- Digestion and gut health
- Nutrition and eating patterns
- Stress and emotional well-being
- Hormone and menopausal symptoms
- Bone health and healthy ageing concerns
Where appropriate, conventional pathology testing and functional testing may be recommended to help identify nutritional deficiencies, thyroid dysfunction, blood sugar and cholesterol imbalances, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, or other factors affecting overall well-being.
Supporting Healthy Ageing Through Menopause and Beyond
The goal is not simply to manage symptoms temporarily. The focus is on helping women feel stronger, calmer, more energised, and more confident through menopause and beyond. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Sue provides a compassionate, practical, and highly individualised approach to midlife health and healthy ageing.

What is naturopathy, and how does it differ from conventional medicine?
What health issues can a naturopath help with?
Naturopaths can assist with a wide range of issues, including digestive concerns, hormonal imbalances, stress, fatigue, skin conditions, weight management, and chronic conditions such as autoimmunity.
Do I need a referral from a doctor to see a naturopath?

What happens during the first consultation?
The first session involves an in-depth discussion of your medical history, lifestyle, diet, and health concerns to create a tailored treatment plan.
